Pierogy Easy Italian

 

Ingredients

 

Serves 4
           
20 CHEEMO pierogies
2 cloves garlic – finely diced or minced
2 medium tomatoes – cut in 8ths
1 small onion – cut in half and sliced thin
Olive oil or margarine
Italian seasoning

 

Preparation

 

Brown CHEEMO pierogies (approximately 3-4 minutes on each side) and remove from pan.  Add olive oil to the pan and proceed to sautee the garlic and onion. Add the tomatoes and browned pierogies to the sautéed onion and garlic. Sautee for a couple of minutes, season with the Italian seasoning. Plate pierogies on a serving platter, sprinkle with parmesan cheese if desired. Garnish with green onions. Can be served with Italian sausage.
